Oh… this coffee has a personality, no doubt.
Not the kind to sit quietly in the background — it walks into the room with a bold berry aroma and makes everyone go: wow. Think juicy nectarine, blackcurrant, dark grapes. The taste is bright, deep, long-lasting — followed by a fruity aftertaste that keeps you reaching for the next sip.
This beauty grows at 1550 meters in the Chirripó microregion, right in the heart of Brunca, where everything aligns for quality: rich soil, mountain mist, temperature shifts, and clean air. The coffee comes from Las Torres farm, part of Café Rivense del Chirripó — a small family-run project with a big vision and a sustainable mindset.
The farm operates with deep respect for nature: using shade trees to preserve moisture, fertilizing only after annual soil tests, and maintaining a healthy ecosystem by growing fruits and protecting water sources. Every cherry is hand-picked at peak ripeness, processed using the full honey method without water, and then dried either in the sun or in mechanical dryers.
Costa Rica Las Torres is your go-to if you're after a coffee with character — the kind that doesn’t whisper, but speaks out loud. And oh, it has something to say. Trust us. ;)
